It is easy to engage your own peers, but what about people with totally different worldviews, personalities or goals? When stakeholders do not share your values or mindset, helping them understand the importance of enacting more sustainable practices is tough.
This workshop is intended for change agents and project leaders in the sustainability, social or environmental fields that feel the need to communicate more effectively to get the results they want.
This four hour active, playful workshop will expand your capacity to recognize mindsets and communicate effectively using language and context that aligns and resonates with different stakeholder groups.
The workshop is a combined initiative of Ecoland Institute and the Abundance Foundation.
The facilitator, Michiel Doorn, is Director of Programs at Ecoland Institute. His passion is to facilitate profitable change toward more resilient, purposeful holistic and sustainable practices and behaviors.
The workshop will be held at the ELI office in the center of Cary on Saturday 31 January from 1 to 5 pm.
For more information please see this brochure: “Communicating for Sustainability”
Registration is limited to a max of 15 participants.
