Love Abundance NC?
August 7, 2015
Love Abundance NC? We love you. Cultivating Community is what this organization is all about, and we’d love you to join in. Take part. Make it yours.
As they say over at the public radio stations, you can toss in your monthly support for the change you may lay down for a fancy coffee drink. Only you won’t get the jitters on this exchange, you’ll have the soothing satisfaction of knowing your dollars are being spent on the real energy out there growing greater abundance and connection through local economy, local foods, support of local farmers and energy sources. Not to mention all the amazing conferences, gatherings, workshops and fun we love to make happen. A cup of coffee?….. or all that!? Its a no-brainer.
Give as much as you can afford. You decide what we’re worth.
This community is chock full of amazing people doing exciting and beautiful work, putting themselves out there, making the world a better place.
So, let’s kick it up a notch.
Become an Abundance Sustainer – join the family – and tell us what you love, what you want, what you need. What you’d love to see more of. What kind of beautiful local world do you dream of? Help us plan the party celebrating each and every one of us out here making the seemingly impossible, possible. Turn scarcity into Abundance, make “local” happen in real life. That’s the kind of world we see growing too. It’s happening.
As Arundhati Roy has said so powerfully,
“Our strategy should be not only to confront empire, but to lay siege to it. To deprive it of oxygen. To shame it. To mock it. With our art, our music, our literature, our stubbornness, our joy, our brilliance, our sheer relentlessness – and our ability to tell our own stories. Stories that are different from the ones we’re being brainwashed to believe.
The corporate revolution will collapse if we refuse to buy what they are selling – their ideas, their version of history, their wars, their weapons, their notion of inevitability.
Remember this: We be many and they be few. They need us more than we need them.
Another world is not only possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing.”
I can hear her breathing. Pittsboro
Many hands make the work light, and more fun. Together we’ll make it happen.
