First stop on the agenda of the 2015 Climate Adaptation Conference for farmers, gardeners, researchers and food activists, is the Innovative Farm Tour by bus of local eco-farms on Thursday, Feb. 5th from 1-5:30pm. We have about ten spots left, so grab yours before they’re all gone!
Permaculture educator extraordinaire, Will Hooker, will be on board, guiding us on our journey, and extolling the virtues of farming techniques that are regenerative for the land and help farmers cope with climate change.
We will make two stops on our journey that departs from Fearrington Village at 1pm. The two innovative farms on the tour are Whitted Bowers Farm and Maple Spring Gardens. Learn more about these farms and the tour on our Innovative Farm Tour page, and grab your tickets while you still can!
Tickets are $35 each. Read more.
