As an agent of change, Abundance NC is working to transform our community into a rich, vibrant, healthy, environmentally-sound, fiscally-sound, happy and meaningful community. In our eight years putting together programs and putting on dozens of workshops, conferences and events, we have learned a lot — about how to do things, and importantly, how not to do them.
We openly share our intellectual capital, our ideas, and our advice with like-minded organizations. We share our mistakes and failures so that others may learn and benefit from our experience.
We provide guidance, bookkeeping, and the use of our 501-c3 nonprofit certification to fledgling organizations that need help getting their start in the world, with our fiscal sponsorship program. And we also provide consulting, mentorship and technical assistance services to anyone from the community, or from another community, for that matter, who would like our help.
Between our four staff members, we have a combined 45 years of experience planning events and working in the community on social and environmental change.
Maybe you would like to better understand the ins and outs of planning a big event like PepperFest, or you’d like to start a Chef Challenge in your hometown. Feel free to contact us to schedule a phone call or meeting, or to discuss over email.
Cost:
We charge for consultation and technical assistance on a sliding scale. Contact us to find out more.
Additionally, we have a fiscal sponsorship program that accepts about two new sponsor organizations a year. For these sponsors we take a small percentage of their income in exchange for providing them with mentorship, bookkeeping services, and our 501c-3 nonprofit certification, so they can accept tax-deductible donations without all the expense and paperwork of setting up an official nonprofit organization. Read our fiscal sponsorship page to find out how to apply.
